Those washi tapes can be addictive and more for those girls who are good at crafts, just tell them, beware do not buy all them and end ruined, but surely happy with those adorable washi tapes of colors and charmers prints.

I have long bought my small collection of Washi Tapes and now I am as the sculpture of Rodin's Thinker, I am waiting find an idea to use my adorable Washi Tapes.

My small collection of Washi and Fabric Tapes

Washi Tape or Rice paper ribbons, are rolls of decorated adhesive paper. Also known as Japanese tape. The word washi is originally from Japan, it refers to a type of very resistant rice paper, made from ancient times and the word tape, refers to the adhesive. It is usually 15 mm wide and 10 meters long. But there are wider and infinite designs. The washi tape is easily cut, without using scissors, has an adhesive face to join objects and on the other it look colors and prints that make it a very attractive tool for the accomplishment of crafts, in addition it can be written on her, because it's a paper.

After entering fully into the world of washi, I discovered that there are also tapes of other materials:
  • Masking tape, is any tape that serves to mask areas that should not be painted, the traditional painters tape.
  • Fabric Tape, Fabric ribbons that also come in rolls of 15 mm wide and 5 meters approximately and offer many designs and prints with a better quality in terms of the sharpness of their colors.
  • Lace Tape, Lace with an adhesive strip inside, and we can also find them in different colors, shapes and widths.

On the internet we can find ideas to use our washi tapes. We can use them to highlight an object in our candy bars, decorate gift bags, water bottles, wood letters, cutlery at parties, make mini pennants, and many more ideas.
