I am used to decorating my adorable little cupcakes, so decorating a cake with fondant is a challenge. Finally we got a cake decoration very special for the occasion.

Fonfant is a paste similar to plastiline but edible, used as a covering for certain preparations such as buns, cakes, muffins, etc. The ingredients of the fondant are: unflavored gelatin, cold water, glucose, glycerin, butter, icing sugar, flavoring to taste.

I have been captivated by the washi tapes and its variety of colors and styles. It is difficult to select one, because all are beautiful. After entering fully into the world of washi, I discovered that there are also tapes of other materials: 

• Masking tape, is any tape that serves to mask areas that should not be painted, the traditional painters tape.

• Fabric Tape, Fabric ribbons that also come in rolls of 15 mm wide and 5 meters approximately and offer many designs and prints with a better quality in terms of the sharpness of their colors.
• Lace Tape, Lace with an adhesive strip inside, and we can also find them in different colors, shapes and widths.

On the internet we can find ideas to use our washi tapes. We can use them to highlight an object in our candy bars, decorate gift bags, water bottles, wood letters, cutlery at parties, make mini pennants, and many more ideas.

Vanilla Cupcakes for a Wedding

Buttercream beaten with sugar is one of the most traditional ways to decorate cupcakes and cakes. You can add a touch of flavor with vanilla extract and color with dyes to achieve a cupcakes flashy.

Ingredients:

1.- 250 gr. unsalted butter at room temperature
2.- 250 gr. icing sugar
3.- 3 - 4 tablespoons of milk

4.- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation procedure

1.- Sift the icing sugar.

2.- Add the butter, milk, and vanilla extract.

3.- Beat the mixture at low speed for 1 minute until the ingredients are integrated.
4.- Beat for 5 minutes at high speed.

Fruit Skiwers

Fruit skewers are good for eating in summer time, because they refresh us. They have low calories and provide water, vitamins, minerals and fiber. If we want to use them as dessert, we can add marshmallows and gummies to give them a sweeter touch and if we also complement them with melted chocolate, that is already a success assured, no one will be left without trying them. If you want a softer buttercream, add a couple of tablespoons of water

Ingredients:

1.- 4 oreo cookies 40 gr. Approx.
2.- 200 gr. Icing sugar
3.- 80 gr. Cream cheese
4.- 60 gr. Butter
5.- 35 gr. Oreo Cream
6.- 15 ml Vanilla essence

Preparation procedure

1.- Separate the white part of the cookies and reserve it.
2. Crush the black cookies and reserve.
3.- In a bowl add the butter, the cream cheese, the cream of oreo and beat with a mixer until there is an integrated mixture.
4.- Add the teaspoon of vanilla essence and beat.
5.- Add the crushed oreo biscuits and beat until well blended.
6.- Add the glass sugar little by little with a spoon and beat.
7.- Once you get the desired texture decorate the cupcakes.
